Cambrils has always been and always will be a fishing villa. It is also an important marine villa growing with giants steps. It has an old part of town with constructions dated from the XVIII century. Today, (although are finish already), its port is getting intensively remodelled in order to create a new subterranean parking place,
undoubtedly this new part of the port will make Cambrils a more modern and concern tourism place for its visitors.

The main reason most people visit Cambrils, are the restaurants! Enter and taste the fish and seafood in general, whether grilled (for us the best way to eat fresh fish) or fried, the Mediterranean way of living. Grilled fish and olive oil, nothing can be more tasty and healthy.

For all the above reasons Cambrils welcomes you to its beaches, port and its mediteranean atmosphere.

"BEACHES AND MARINA"

Cambrils is the perfect place for those, who want to spend some quiet days, relaxing on the beach. There are 9 km sandy beaches for those who love the sea!!

 "Playa El Regueral", the most important and central beach is a long, wide and sandy beach, with all kind of services, where most of Cambrils summer activities take place. It starts at the "Nautical Club" and reaches until the "Torre de l´Esquirol", a rectangular and yellow tower everyone can see from the sea side road. Next beach is the "Platja Cavet", which will be remodelled and extended by a new sea side walking path, that is almost finished.

Passing the "Torre de l´Esquirol" (towards Salou) you get to "Platja de Vilafortuny", located in front of the residential area with the same name. Finally there is the " Platja de St. Pere ".

Now, you can walk this almost perfect sea side walking path a few kilometers from Cambrils to "Salou´s fuente luminosa", and never lose the sea view. A wonderful place for lovers of walking!

On the opposite side of the marina, you will find other places to go.  After passing the "Torre del Port" and in front of the "Parque del Pescador", begins the "Platja de la Horta de Sta. María", where some summer shows are celebrated during the "Cambrils summer festival".
Passing this point, you get to the "Platja Llosa", and finally to the "Platja de l´Ardiaca". The access to the last one is by walking, there is no road available.

Private sail boats and yachts show that we are in a sport's marina that offers all the necessary comfort and covers all the necessities its occupants may have.
